Adorable Rhiannon

Ooh, I am so excited! I made a scrapbook page! It's been forever since I have had a chance to scrap, and the bug has officially bitten me again. Not that I don't always have the "itch," but now I really wanna play with my thousands of photos! I used one of my all time favorite photos of Rhiannon, the photo was taken in September of 2009, when she was almost 9 months old. And she's wearing one of my most favorite shirts that she's ever had.

Look at that face!!! It's that little smile that makes every little tantrum, late night, and unfinished dinners worth it. This little smile makes my heart melt. My 12x12 layout has a lot of fun little details. I had such a good time getting inky. It's been far too long...

See that pretty border? I made it using Clear Snap's Design Adhesive and glitter. The pretty Design Adhesive goes on like a dream...then you just shake on your glitter and voila! Easy as 1-2-3! I love this stuff! I also broke out my beloved Crafter's Workshop Mini Punchinella stencil and Dusty Plum ink (also from Clear Snap/Colorbox) and went to town. My edges are inked, distressed and stapled. And even though there is a ton of pink...I managed to get in some fabulous black glitter cardstock (Martha Stewart), so I kept the page very Alison.

Here's a close up of some of my details. Pretty stuff, right?

The title is from Tattered Angles and Heidi Swapp. I brushed on some Glimmer Mist because every single one of my mists that coordinated with this page are clogged! I am a bit miffed about this. But, I kept it quite brushy on the title, so at least you can see some of the original color.
Please feel free to click on any of the photos to see it bigger. You'll see more of the embellishments I've used! Hopefully, I will get to scrapbook a bit more soon. Like, within a week rather than within the next 6 months. Fingers crossed! I really need to fill up my albums! Thanks so much for stopping by. Have an inspiring day!

What a beautiful page! I love all of your details. I especially liked that you used staples on such a pretty page.:) And your little sweetie is just as cute as she can be!

She's adorable. Great photo. I also love the use of the Punchinella stencils and the way you layered the paper strips.

***Sorry for the late posting....Blogger doesn't always play nice! Today is the first day of our  ADFD Blog Hop  - a celebration of all of the beautiful images Tammy has created over the years. As a special surprise for Tammy, we have a combination of current and former DT members participating in the hop. Her inspiring art and generous heart have touched us all. Christmas in July with Imagine Crafts & Stencil Girl!

Hello! Have you heard? The Imagine AIRs have been hopping with Stencil Girl! If you have been here before, you know I loooove me some stencils, so this collaboration was very exciting for me! The teams are hopping for 3 consecutive Saturdays, and this is week 2. I have the entire list of hop links at the bottom of the post. Be sure you don't miss anyone! I decided to to create an extra large gift tag with my new stencils. Using red cardstock, I taped down the Journal Texture #8 Stencil  and inked it up with Golden Glitz Delicata ink . I promise you, this is the BEST gold ink you will ever use! The Journal stamp only has 2 diamonds on it (it's a 4x4" stencil), so after I inked up the first pair, I moved over the stencil, lined it up, and inked again. Next I wanted to do something textural with the Urban Insiders Star . So I took some evergreen cardstock, taped down the star, and slathered on some yummy Iridescent Green Creative Medium . After the medium dried, I ga

Remembering Aletha

Greetings, Friends. This post today is part of a very special blog hop. We are celebrating the life of an amazingly talented artist and friend. The crafting community lost Aletha Jane Williams on May 5, 2019. Those of us that worked with her on Design Teams or on Challenge Blogs all agree that she was one of the sweetest and most talented women we knew. We are not here to mourn her loss though. This hop is happening in conjunction with a very special celebration of her life and her art that her husband Bob is holding in her home city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Please join us in honoring our incredibly creative friend Aletha . My card features the "Remembering Aletha" Sprite, which Mitzi (owner and artist of Aurora Wings ) created specifically for this hop. She is generously giving the digi away to all, over on her blog. This sweet Sprite looks so much like Aletha, and I know she would have been honored. If you download this digi for yourself, please be sure to give a huge "
